WAX CARVING RING WORKSHOP

Get ready for a 2.5-hour wax carving workshop where you'll create your own unique, simple wax-carved rings. Held in the inspiring Handmade Nottingham space, it’s the perfect setting to unleash your creativity. I (Amber) will guide you through the process, and yes – we’ll have cake and hot drinks to keep you fuelled and happy. Join us for a fun-filled session where every creation tells a story!
WHAT'S INCLUDED + ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS:
- A fully tutored session by a skilled professional (that’s me!)  
- All tools and materials provided: files, wax reamers, specialist carving tools, jewellers’ wax, and some design inspo sheets (feel free to browse Pinterest beforehand!)  
- One brass cast of your ring included in the workshop cost  
- Cake and hot drinks (because snacks matter)

OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL COSTS:
SILVER:Casting your ring in silver is approx £10–£35, depending on weight.  
GOLD PLATING:Add gold plating for £10–£25, depending on size. You can plate brass or silver.  
ADDITIONAL RINGS:Any extras you make will cost £10 casting fee each, plus material costs.
RECEIVING YOUR RING:
You’ll leave your wax-carved rings with me at the end of the session. I’ll have them cast, then sand and polish them before posting them to you. Rings are sent via 2nd class large letter to your chosen address.
WAIT TIMES:
Allow up to 4 weeks from the workshop date to receive your finished ring. (Add a little more time if you’re going for gold plating.)
